Hey, Do You Remember….That Time the President Suggested We Ingest Bleach?
It was April 23rd, 2020, US President and sex pest Donald Trump shambled up to the podium at the White House briefing room. Earlier in the day, his COVID task force had met up to discuss the latest findings on how we might combat the deadly disease sweeping the globe—including the effects that light and humidity had on the virus.
At the briefing, Trump introduced Bill, the head of science and tech at the department of homeland security. At the podium, Bill mentioned mundane stuff like how people might try moving gatherings outside. At one point Bill mentioned that bleach will kill the virus in five minutes. After Bill stepped to the side, the Sex Pest in Chief returned to the podium and said, “And then I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning. Because you see it gets in the lungs, and it does a tremendous number on the lungs. So it would be interesting to check that.”
Yup, the nation’s highest elected official suggested we consider injecting bleach into the human body.
So, what happens if you inject bleach?
Well, it’s a poison. It causes burns and tissue damage.
In fact, according to Poison Control a 22-year-old man tried injecting bleach once. He arrived at the hospital seeking medical treatment with a large area of green discoloration at the injection site, It was a chemical burn. Eventually, the tissue turned necrotic, he developed nerve damage, and had to have soft tissue reconstructive surgery.
